The Whitestone Massacre and Day of the Dogs Attack

On September 3rd, in remembrance of the anniversary of the Whitestone Massacre, supporters of Sacred Stone Village returned to the Cannonball River to offer tobacco and pray.  They also made tobacco ties and prayed at the site of the Dakota Access Pipeline easement, to commemorate the attacks on peaceful water protectors by private security forces armed with pepper spray and attack dogs.  Founder LaDonna Bravebull Allard speaks to the history of this day in this video.
